Doxology (Crowder’s Version) – G
What a staple of our faith! I simply appreciate the drawn out and stylized “amen” that Crowder brings to the table.

I had the extreme privilege of learning this 9 months before radio release from Brenton Brown himself at a Worship Together conference in Nashville, TN in 2006 (I think).
I do the pre-chorus the way it was written, not the way it was published. I will always insist on doing the song correctly. 🙂
“You are good when there’s nothing good in me…”
This song has held on very well at LOTW — I’m glad to have been able to share it! John Mark McMillan’s songs typically serve the church very well, and they’re quite well-thought-out in their approach to faith. Let’s make it better, here!
I’m genuinely thrilled to sing any song that gives Him glory, honor, and praise!
What a cry of worship, what an offering!
The original key – considerably easier for most females to lead in.
“Heal my heart and make it clean // open up my eyes to the things unseen // show me how to love like You have loved me…”
Side note: not sure how I exported two harmonies without putting out a solo version to practice against. Hm.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love this song. I’d never heard it before it was requested for a special service, but what a beautiful expression of gratitude! In my head, guitar didn’t do the song justice. It has to be piano. I’m no Mozart, but I hope I’ve done it justice enough for you to be able to worship as you rehearse.
Hey, if you’re reading this, remind me to listen to this track and update this blurb to note which verses are included. I use different verses for funerals and for corporate worship, and I can’t remember which one this is, and I’m currently making a blog post page for 50 songs in one day. I’ll figure it out later. 🙂
