Worship

“Welcome to our living room. You can take a seat, it’s always free.”

                                     – DC Talk, Intro to “What If I Stumble,” Welcome To the Freak Show (live album)

This is where I put my recent worship projects. Spend some time enjoying your favorite songs, and let me know if there are any songs you would like to worship along with. I’ll record them as soon as I’m able.

As always, thank you for listening.

Beautiful Things – Gungor

One of my favorite songs to play in DADGAD, the walking lines over chords are just fun to work with. Additionally, I am sometimes able to talk my wife into coming in and doing the bridge, and I love singing with her, so this one gets played a lot because it makes her smile.

Closer – Lifepoint Worship

My violin player, the absolute sweetheart that she is, threatened offered to kill me for keeping a song in B when I can sing it in C. So I did it in C. My bass player and piano player secretly thanked my violin player, thinking I wouldn’t notice. I don’t know who they think I am, but…

Also, I snapped a string on my acoustic last night, so I strung up my old Epiphone Les Paul (a ’56 Goldtop remake, my first REAL electric that I bought, signed by the original David Crowder*Band because I’m a nerd), and had a little fun holding her again. Dumb fact: I name my guitars. Fun fact: I’m not telling you her name. That’s between me and her.

I can’t believe you’re still reading. Stop reading. Worship a little bit with me.
